Dr. Kenneth DeKay is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician with over 10 years of experience. He is dedicated to patient care and ensures that every patient at Level One Urgent Care receives quality and comprehensive medical care.
He has helped publish multiple research articles and practices evidence-based medicine. Dr. DeKay has completed an Ultrasound Fellowship program and is proficient in ultrasound-guided procedures, diagnostics, and education.
When he is not caring for patients, he spends time with his grandchildren and tending to his ranch and farm animals.

After his Bachelor’s, he started his professional journey in the Trauma ICU and Emergency Department, where he cared for patients. Driven by a desire to make a difference, he continued his education, graduating with honors from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
Dr. Valdez is committed to providing exceptional, compassionate care to all of his patients. He is focused on improving every patient's experience and meeting their medical needs. When he is not treating patients, he spends time with his family and enjoys vacations in the Caribbean.
